Please note that I don't eat Pizza and Barbeque everyday - I do cook at home most days but since I just am in love with everything I eat, I feel compelled to share it with you (and it is my greatest hope that you enjoy my food adventures).
My new concoction:
I like to just chop stuff up and throw it all in. Nothing is more boring to me than an iceberg salad (barf) and for the longest time I thought I didn't even like salad until I started putting tons of stuff on my greens.
Red quinoa (maybe 1/2 cup)
Roasted Red Pepper
Chopped up veggie turkey burger
Mixed Greens - but no arugula!
Dressing: I used the 1905
This was a satisfying and beautfiul salad. Alas, I gobbled it up before I could snap a photo for you all. Try it.
Other items that would be fantastic in this salad - roasted chick peas, feta cheese, Parmesan cheese, ANY CHEESE,cucumbers, raisins, chicken (blech), chopped hard boiled egg, or any roasted veggies.
