I caught this on my lunch hour today on the corner of Monroe and Secor (while I was pumping gas at the station next to this lot!). I heard an explosion and panicked. A nice gentleman next to me reassured me it was "only the tires" and we were ok (because of course I asked if we were a safe distance and whether or not we should be pumping gas). He told me he was a firefighter and I immediately felt better.
Here is a short clip of the fire. Station #25 showed up seconds later and had that fire out in a flash! I couldn't get that on video because of all the on-lookers and gawkers that were NOT at a safe distance.
