I made these the other night. AMAZING! Seriously, the taco meat recipe was worth it alone. Honestly, I cannot believe how delicious and not healthy these tasted. I did not par boil the zucchinis and that made them a bit stiff and hard to handle (insert obvious joke), but nonetheless, delectable. Notice I already ate part of the one on the right.
Next exciting adventure, although i know you can hardly handle anything else after the zucchini boats, was my trip out to Centennial Terrace last night for the Craft Beer Festival. I guess there were over 2,000 people there and TONS of incredible beer from local and national vendors. What can I say? Like a kid in a candy store. I was with my gorgeous and hilarious friend Emily, that does not care about beer that much. She decided to purchase a cocktail (instead of drinking all the free beer) while I was mapping my route strategically with my pencil and map they provided so I could get in the correct line and optimize my pours. Can you be a beer nerd? Guess so.
If the Quarry hosts this next year, you should definitely go. Be sure to hit the SUNDOWN Cantina before for dinner.
How gross is this? This is a bottle of St. Ives lotion. Seriously - I am so annoyed with buying basic products these days. It can't have parabens, it shouldn't have mineral oil, it needs to have sunscreen, but I don't want to smell like a flower factory, plus I don't want to take out a loan for freaking lotion. I have always liked St. Ives but noticed the other day that UREA is listed among it's ingredients. Urea? Isn't that cat pee? Shit.
