DIY Body Scrub

This is a poor excuse for a post, but I need to get back into the swing of posting.  I have been so busy!

I read about this DIY conditioning-exfoliating scrub in a magazine and I tried it last night.  It was nothing short of amazing for my dry winter skin.  I even used it on my face!  Now, I would not necessarily use this in the morning and then go to work all day, but in the winter at night, in a hot shower, this was incredible.

Simply:
Coconut oil
Brown sugar

I bet olive oil would work too but the coconut oil smelled so incredible and I had it on hand.  I heated it up so it would mix better, and I would be lying if I said I didn't taste it.

I scrubbed this all over in the shower and it was a little oily, so  be sure to warn your spouse or roommate about the tub being slippery (or just clean it out - duh!).  My skin was so incredibly soft, it was crazy!!

Try it, you will like it.

Last year I made some scrub with grapeseed oil and regular sugar and a few drops of essential oils. It is amazing how great this stuff works, without all the added chemicals and crap!

Sarah - I remember when you posted that! I think Grapeseed oil smells incredible!

@ TL - I just mixed half and half. 1/2 cup to start for both would be good. It was the consistency of wet sand.
