Star Wars News

For any Star Wars Fan, you already know what I am about to tell you so that will be no big shock but I want to hear what you think about all this.  And to the rest of you, you can go ahead and stop reading becuase you will not care what is up and coming in a galaxy, far, far away.

However, Disney bought Lucasfilms (talk about Galactic battle for the Empire) and they will be making movies 7, 8, and 9.  Which is exciting *shaking with excitement*.  This will follow Luke, Han and Leia (and their kids) and the regrowth of the Jedi order and more battles and more awesomeness.   Now, time to continue reading nerdy awesome books.  If you need a recommendation - read this one.  It's rad.  I'm reading this one now.  It's exciting.

DT told me that there might be a Yoda spin-off movie as well.  As much as I would dress up and go see these movies much as l am looking forward to this fine futuristic films, I worry about them being too "kiddy."  I hope Disney puts together a nice product.  Let's not have a Jar-Jar Binks incident again.

This morning on the radio, I heard that there are possible Han Solo and Boba Fett spin-offs rumored as well.  However, I had to turn it off since the female on the morning talk show was such a raging idiot it was upsetting me.  She kept saying things like, "Bobo Fat" and "I don't get Star Wars," yet continued to vomit her stupid and vapid opinion all over us.  I was getting pissed and yelling back at the radio.  "Bradley Cooper is rumored to be the new Han Solo,"  WHAT?!  NO!  TERRIBLE!  I screamed.    When I realized I was arguing with a 22 year old intern that could not hear me....about Star Wars, I turned off the radio.  To listen to my John Williams Star Wars score.  BOOM!

Anyway - I did some research and found this article that validates their "discussion" a bit more.

Question:
Who would you see play Han Solo?  I don't hate Bradley Cooper but he's just too popular.  We need someone a little more subtle.  I like Joseph Gordon-Levitt right now.  Did you see Looper?   Of course, Hugh Jackman would be a nice pick.  Wolverine smuggler?    He's too popular too.

  1. I have no relevant comment to leave, but I admire your enthusiasm.

Still, it appears to me that you're speaking another language.

While I'm not a Star Wars fan, do know that I love the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. We can still be friends, right?

  2. I agree. Bradley Cooper is too popular. Johnny Depp is about the only popular actor that can be thrown into a Disney movie and still be cool.

They need to pick up a young actor from a drama series like Suits or Damages. The guy has to have a certain swagger that guys admire and ladies desire.

  5. I think you could be right on with JGL. You should write them a letter. They OBVIOUSLY do not know as much as you.

And...I totally see and hear you yelling at the radio...and I love it!

  6. I'm thinking Danny McBride. He's dashingly good looking, and a man of action.
