However, Disney bought Lucasfilms (talk about Galactic battle for the Empire) and they will be making movies 7, 8, and 9. Which is exciting *shaking with excitement*. This will follow Luke, Han and Leia (and their kids) and the regrowth of the Jedi order and more battles and more awesomeness. Now, time to continue reading nerdy awesome books. If you need a recommendation - read this one. It's rad. I'm reading this one now. It's exciting.
DT told me that there might be a Yoda spin-off movie as well. As
This morning on the radio, I heard that there are possible Han Solo and Boba Fett spin-offs rumored as well. However, I had to turn it off since the female on the morning talk show was such a raging idiot it was upsetting me. She kept saying things like, "Bobo Fat" and "I don't get Star Wars," yet continued to vomit her stupid and vapid opinion all over us. I was getting pissed and yelling back at the radio. "Bradley Cooper is rumored to be the new Han Solo," WHAT?! NO! TERRIBLE! I screamed. When I realized I was arguing with a 22 year old intern that could not hear me....about Star Wars, I turned off the radio. To listen to my John Williams Star Wars score. BOOM!
Anyway - I did some research and found this article that validates their "discussion" a bit more.
Question:
Who would you see play Han Solo? I don't hate Bradley Cooper but he's just too popular. We need someone a little more subtle. I like Joseph Gordon-Levitt right now. Did you see Looper? Of course, Hugh Jackman would be a nice pick. Wolverine smuggler? He's too popular too.

I have no relevant comment to leave, but I admire your enthusiasm.
ReplyDeleteStill, it appears to me that you're speaking another language.
While I'm not a Star Wars fan, do know that I love the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. We can still be friends, right?
YES! We will always be friends - even though we speak different movie languages :)
DeleteI agree. Bradley Cooper is too popular. Johnny Depp is about the only popular actor that can be thrown into a Disney movie and still be cool.
ReplyDeleteThey need to pick up a young actor from a drama series like Suits or Damages. The guy has to have a certain swagger that guys admire and ladies desire.
YES! JS that is a good suggestion.
DeleteAs this post was not intended to be funny, it made me laugh!!! I can picture how excited you would be telling me all of this in person, I would be staring back at you with a blank stare....which would then make you laugh : ) Love you! KZ
ReplyDeleteP.S. Though I don't follow much of what you said re: all things Star Wars...I completely agree with your stance on Bradley Cooper ; ) KZ
ReplyDeleteI just want to see a comedy with you every weekend - that made my night! You are the quietest laugher on the planet.
DeleteI think you could be right on with JGL. You should write them a letter. They OBVIOUSLY do not know as much as you.
ReplyDeleteAnd...I totally see and hear you yelling at the radio...and I love it!
BLAH! HAH! Gina...
DeleteI'm thinking Danny McBride. He's dashingly good looking, and a man of action.
ReplyDeleteD.T.
YES - you know i love him, but not as much as I love you.
DeleteSomething I thought you would appreciate:
