Here's a quick story:
At the gym. I have my headphones on but the music was not playing. My ponytail was not satisfactory so I took it out so I could start over. This older gentleman was standing next to me. He obviously thought I had on my music.
I pull out my hair (not provocatively mind you, I just have massive hair)....he goes...
"DAMN! THAT'S SOME BIG ASS HAIR!'
Moral of the story - ALWAYS have your music on at the gym.

To celebrate, we went out to dinner and chose from our restaurant list. Yes, we have a running list of restaurants that we are dying to try and also so we don't always just freak out and order the entire appetizer menu at the Beirut (which is amazing, but they are not open on Sundays). Mancy's Bluewater Grille was a terrific selection for the occasion. I had never been there and Danny only once, plus the Grille boasts a more expensive menu and romantic type setting, we thought it would be perfect.
It was. The service was impeccable, the food deletable, and the overall experience...I'd give it a 9. Takes a LOT to get a 10. Our waiter was funny and informative, attentive but not annoying, perfect. We started with flash fried hoisin calamari. YUM. I had the grilled mahi with salad, green beans, and the dark horse of the evening, a SALT CRUSTED baked potato. Seriously? This hot potato was scrumptious. I am a salt lover and this little guy was so so so so so .....RIDICULOUSLY GOOD (-looking - haah). Butter and sour cream? Don't mind if I do. Just a little. That salt crust just did it for me. Seriously...amazing. I would go back for salt potato and wine. If no one was looking, I would have licked the plate. It was annoying that people were looking.
Happy 6 month Anniversary DT. Here's to a million more months of happiness. You are the best.

Well, thank you to my friend Aimee, who created this delicious and healthy dinner last week and I/we remade it last night. Wanted to share in case you need new ideas too:
Chicken - marinated in Garlic Expressions (which is a magic solution in my opinion)
Grilled kabob-style with green pepper, white and red onion, and tomatoes
Cherry tomatoes halved
Pita Chips - I fried my own in olive oil and salted them. Insanely tasty and a great way to use pita that is leftover/stale
Dressing - (Aimee's recipe): Olive oil, fresh lemon juice, pepper, vinegar (I just used regular white) garlic powder and something she pronounced that I cannot say or spell, but it's a lebanese spice. I omitted it because I did not have it and added sea salt. This dressing is SO GOOD! This salad is like fattoush, but not as vegetable-y.
