Making Garland and cookies

I was very busy over the weekend with craft type Martha things.  I saw this on pinterest and thought, "Hey, I bet I could make that!"....and so I did. Here's the proof.   This post is sponsored in part by Ky and Unco Craig for gifting me my amazing sewing machine - thank you!  Love you!

Garland for the mirror or tree

Fabulous flag garland - or "bunting" maybe?

I also made a really cool triangle garland of green and white with ribbon on the end but gave it to someone as a hostess gift.  I wrapped it around a bottle of wine.  FUN!  Alas, I did not take a pic.  STUPID!

Then, on Sunday, our Ligibel family Tradition is to decorate Anise cookies.  Not familiar with Anise?  It is a spice that tastes kind of like licorice but not exactly.  You either like it or you don't but they are festive and we like them and they are fun to decorate.  And eat.  We bake them thin, then frost with powdered sugar icing and top with colored sugar and decorative dragees and cinnamon drops.  Love it!

This is only a small portion - there are TONS

Just the wreaths
