The Mary Poppins of Fashion

I was at a bachelorette party over the weekend and I learned several new things.  Since my mom reads this, I will keep it to the things I learned about products.  My very clever friend Emily has a lot of tricks in her bag, just like Mary Poppins, but instead of measuring tape and Tiffany Lamps, she had items that make you look fabulous.

For instance:
Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs.  This stuff is so cool.  It makes your legs look smooth, silky and even and a little tan but without the orange hue.  Does not rub off either.  Pretty slick.

Next, Fashion Tape.  I cannot ever imagine using this, but for those who do not wear an enormous 4 hooked brassiere, and can enjoy plunging necklines, fashion tape keeps your girls and dress in line.  Pretty good trick, right?

Emily had a curling iron with no extra thingy that you lift, cleverly named a curling rod.  I guess when you use it you have expertly styled hair that gives you fresh, beach celebrity hair as seen below.

Finally, Emily gave me a great tip for extending the life of mascara, which is extremely helpful when you are a sucker for $28 Diorshow mascara.  She advised to simply add a few drops of saline solution into the tube and wah-lah, you will have alonger relationship with your mascara.  It's like the fishes and the loaves, isn't is?

Thank you Emily, for teaching me the tricks of the trade, and for being amazing (she went to the hotel lobby in the morning and came back with a grab bag of cold beverages - now that's a good friend!).

I love these kinds of tips. However, I am curious about what other tips Emily shared with the group ;-)

Awesome! I've wondered about the airbrush legs...I could use it every day to cover veins and bruises (from my kids jumping on me). ;)

I've always wondered about that airbrush stuff too!! My legs will NOT tan, have 550 bruises, and cute little stretch marks :/ Perhaps this may help me.
