I read an article in Self, or Shape or some other self-loathing magazine advising it's readership to drink water at different temperatures at different times throughout the day to boost metabolism.

Ok - let's give it a shot.  Why the hell not?

In the am, you are supposed to drink hot water with a squeeze of real lemon and lemon zest (use the microplane - it rocks).  Surprise - I love this.  Before lunch and all meals, lukewarm water.  No surprise - this is boring as shit.  Iced water the rest of the day.  Done.

I've lost 8 pounds in 3 days.  KIDDING.  I can see the philosophy behind this and it gives me something to do at work :)

Have a ZESTY day!

I'm curious: What's the theory behind this?

(Lukewarm water sounds awful.)

HAHAHA! Awesome.

My 4 day diet says you are suppose to drink a cup of room temp water right before you eat to fill you up. It kinda works. Well it does work, but I don't listen to my "you are full" inner monologue anyways so it doesn't work as much with me :)

(I love zesters!)
