Lazy Sunday Poll

Since we are all so good and have been so on top of our commitment to Nablomoewhatever, I wanted to take this opportunity to get some polling done and maybe start a weekly of my own.

This today's poll:

Do you take vitamins?  What kind?  Do you think they really do anything?

Currently, I take a 2 a day multivitamin for active people (aka metabolism boosting).  I was nervous about it so I actually took the bottle into my doctor and she approved it.  She also recommended taking Vitamin C daily since everyone is sick all the time (exaggeration, but it seems that way in an office).  The Doc told me that if you take too much Vitamin C, your body just gets rid of it via urine.  So, basically, you cannot OD on the C.

I would really like to switch to the Gummy Bear kind.  I think I would enjoy vitamins more.  I have always hated swallowing pills and they get stuck in my throat 10% of the time forcing me to panic and down about 20oz of water.  It's terrifying.

My mom used to throw our chewable vitamins in our cereal when we were little. You'd take a bite of Frosted Flakes and get a nice, chalky surprise. Yecch.

I take a multivitamin. I guess I should be taking calcium supplements and probably Vitamin C, too...

Oh, I adore vitamins.

I take a prenatal vitamin once a day.
Then, I take a "brain-boosting" vitamin for Baby Girl 2011 3 times a day (when I remember.)
I also take lysine.
And, I also take vitamins e and c when necessary.

I am a FIRM believer in vitamins.

I am also a bit of a vitamin freak... I just started taking GNC's Women's Wellness packets. There are 6 vitamins in a little packet, and I have noticed a difference taking them. (I used to take a multi vitamin, vitamin C, vitamin D & calcium. The GNC packets are a great deal, and are convenient to take with you if you like to space your vitamins out, or take them on the go! LOVE THEM!

I try. But I can remember to blog a lot better than I can remember to take my vitamins!

My son takes probiotics, calcium supplements and Omega-3. Oh and he takes melatonin. I'm also going to be giving him "tasteless minerals" (have no flavor for kids) such as natural lithium (it's a mineral also) for behavior/mood. The rest of us take the Omega-3. Will be starting on some Vitamin C as well. I think vitamins/minerals are essential since a lot of the food these days, unless it's fresh, is lacking. I'm totally into natural things.

I've been on a prenatal vitamin for what seems like forever. With all the pregnancy/breastfeeding going on, my body needs the support.

We do the probiotics and fiber for the whole family, and I also LOVE putting those vitamin boosters in smoothies.

I've recently started taking a Calcium supplement with Vitamin D and Magnesium on the advice of my doctor. She told me to get them from GNC or Bassett's or Claudia's. Something about them not being synthetic.

I take Vitamin I, known to runners as Ibuprofen. I only take it before long runs and laser hair removal - two times I know there might be imminent pain.
