Spray tan of the stars

I have not blogged in a week! Sorry.

Ok, I was professionally spray tanned last night by a person and not a machine. It was really great and my "tan" turned out awesome. It is definitely the tannest I have ever been. It was only $30 and will last 7-10 days.

The particular brand of "paint" they use is what the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders get all spruced up with.

Hot for Teacher

Mary K. Letourneau and her student turned husband are hosting a "Hot for Teacher" night at a bar in Seattle. He's the DJ, she's the raper. Seriously, he is the DJ.

Here's my favorite quote-
"We get lots of people who want to come meet them. And once they do meet them, they're like, 'Oh my God, she's so down-to-earth and so nice, and he's such a good DJ,' that it's creating like a stir or a buzz, and its bringing people back," Morris says.

I am glad he's a good DJ.

24 - Season Finale

1) Ding dong, Olivia's going to jail. Thank God the President put the hammer down on that little skank. She tried to get all teary and sad and pull that "Daddy, I'm sorry," crap. Way to stay strong Madam President.
2) Tony. I still cannot get over what a bad, angry guy you have become. I was pretty sad about all that.
3) Kim redeemed herself a little when she actually defended herself and made herself useful in the manhunt and came up with the laptop.
4) Don't hate me for saying this, but I almost wanted Jack to die in peace. He's just been through so much (physically, mentally, and emotionally).
5) I love Renee Walker. She is amazing.
6) Aaron Pierce for President!
7) I still want to know what happened to Charles Logan, Martha Logan and Bill's wife Karen Hayes.
8) This was a good season overall. I was pretty happy with it and sad when it ended. I wonder when we will see our complex hero next.

Taken

Watched Taken last night with Liam Neeson - newly out on DVD. It was pretty good and Liam Neeson plays an uber smart bad ass. Makes you think twice about planning your next trip to Europe and highlights the very real and very scary sex trafficking that happens in our world. Fast paced and lots of action, I would definitely recommend this movie. Famke Janssen also stars (no telekinesis though...unfortunately).

1) I flat out missed last week's. It's embarrassing. I did read the play-by-play on 24's website though.
2) I hope Olivia gets arrested/dies soon. I can't take it. Good for you Aaron Pierce!
3) Chloe is so amazingly funny - Janis needed a pat on the back and Chloe definitely wasn't giving it to her- CLASSIC!
4) I just cannot get over Tony. How evil did he look in the van with all that blood on his face?
5) Kim is a colossal moron. Didn't she work at CTU? Doesn't she have training? She always winds up in trouble. Ugh.
6) How in the world is Jack going to get out of this one? I am nervous for Renee.
7) Next week is a two hour wrap up. I have no idea how they are going to pack this all into two hours.

Justin Timberlake rocks

Did anyone catch SNL this week? Justin Timberlake hosted for his 3rd time and he just killed it. He is such a natural, he sings, he dances, he acts - he's not bad on the eyes either. I love that he doesn't take himself that seriously either. JT is a total goof and constantly makes fun of himself. You're the man, Justin.

I know it's hard to believe, but I have not even watched this week's episode yet. Since Wolverine took over on Monday (on it was worth it), Jack Bauer took a backseat. I know, I know, Jack takes a back seat to no one. Believe me, it was a tough choice to make. Review to be posted soon.

Like a fish out of water

In the grocery store, I passed a bewildered man on the phone in the feminine products isle. Poor guy. He looked so totally confused and overwhelmed.

Would you ever, or have you ever, send your significant other to the store to get that stuff for you? I never have and never would. I think that's just mean.

Wolverine

Wow! I had read some reviews posting a C+ or a so-so, but for me, I would give X-Men Origins: Wolverine a frickin "A"! Anyone in their right mind loves (or is mildly obsessed with) Hugh Jackman, and the movie is non stop action and interesting plot the whole way (read I didn't fall asleep in the theater). The movie is what you want to see(after all it is a marvel comic), but does get a little silly at the end with some lasers, but it's fantastic. It's fun to see some character cameos (Scott Summers, Charles Xavier) and the other characters in this movie are also amazing to watch. Liev Schreiber is a great cast as Wolverine's bad brother turned Sabretooth, my beloved hobbit Dominic Monahan appears in the first half, and a little Ryan Reynolds never hurt anyone.

A + Go see this one in the theater.

It's kind of like the Library - just be quiet

I find it extremely annoying when people talk during spin class - extremely. I mean, before class starts and you want to quietly chat, ok, but when you are actually talking during the class and I can hear you over the music and the instructor, you are annoying.

This morning, I kept starting at these two ladies hoping they would get the hint. I wanted to scream, "SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!!!!" but I didn't, and they continued to talk about Godknowswhat, I was just really angry the whole time. Shut your yapper and get to work like the rest of us!

I go to the gym for some peace and quiet. Peace and quiet includes loud noise, music, and instructors, not gossipy chit-chat. This makes me crazy. Ugh.
