Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to my Dad (aka the Captain, aka the Mustache)!

Last weekend we got into a discussion about where the actual Happy Birthday song came from. In the late 1800s, two sisters wrote a song called "Good Morning to All" meant to be easy to remember for grade school children. Here are the lyrics:
Good morning to you,
Good morning to you,
Good morning, dear children,
Good morning to all.
Pretty easy children. Either way, getting sung to on your birthday is slightly embarrassing, no? It wouldn't be your birthday if no one sang, but I wouldn't be sad if I never had to hear that song again.

Oh my goodness, I love your Dad. (He reminds me so much of my Dad and you'll never know how happy that makes me.)

PLEASE tell your Dad I said, "Happy Birthday!" and give him a BIG hug. :-)
