Summer Blockbuster

Over the weekend, Saylor Day and I were talking about movies. The word "blockbuster" came up and she asked me what it meant exactly. My response was, "You know, the BLOCKBUSTERS!"

So, for Saylor:
Main Entry:
block·bust·er Listen to the pronunciation of blockbusterPronunciation:
\ˈbläk-ˌbəs-tər\
Function: noun Usage: often attributive
Date:1942
1 : a very large high-explosive bomb
2
: one that is notably expensive, effective, successful, large, or extravagant blockbuster movie>
3 : one who engages in
blockbusting

Who is Saylor Day, and why do I fill up with rage when I say that name outloud? Do you honestly think anyone has benefitted from that definition besides SD? Next time send this person a text message and give us normals a post about some horrible thing that happened to you in middle-america.
