Juno

"Honest to Blog?" is the reaction of the best friend to Juno's news of her pregnancy. I knew immediately I would love it.

I was expecting a girl Napoleon Dynamite or a sappy weird teenage romance, but seeing on how it won all those awards I did want to give it a whirl. The storyline is very witty and it is touching. Not in the cheesy way, but in the well written, you can identify way. The characters are well developed and the actors portray them so nicely.

I loved Juno's attitude and manner. She was so casual about everything but intense at the same time. Her interests and hobbies were unique and she was SO INTO them. It was nice to see a confident teenager in a movie. Also appreciated was the lack of teenage girl, or any girl, drama.

Overall, great, great movie. I highly recommend. Have you seen it?

She was into her hobbies? Isn't that what hobbies are. Oh Iris?!? You have been banned from any further movie reviews until you start coming up with content that has substance.

p.s. for movie review, see top right hand corner of picture...

Love it, love it.

C. and I first watched a pirated version of Juno on the internet. (Due to our location we are unable to see new movies. We get them when they go to DVD. I swear the movie theaters here actually BUY DVDs and show them. But I digress.). To quell my guilt, I bought the movie on iTunes and have watched it THREE times since last Friday.

I love Ellen Page. If we were in high school, we SO would have been friends. I would have forced it. :-)

I saw this movie and I absolutely loved it! I thought it was hilarious and I'm a fan of Jason Bateman, so I was interested in seeing how his character turned out in the film. I haven't seen it since I saw it in the theaters, but I would most definitely watch it again.

I've seen it. I loved it. I love how you start off the movie hating Jennifer Garner's character (Vanessa) and loving Jason Bateman's character. By the end I felt almost the complete opposite. (which made me happy because my friend, Bump on a Log told me that Vanessa reminded her of ME! WHAT?!?! Anyhow, my favorite characters that I think were kinda overlooked:
Leah
Brenn (Stepmom)

I obviously loved, LOVED, LOVED Juno, Bleeker and the day as well. I think this really is the best movie to come out in a while. Like you said, seems totally non-serious, but really intense at the same time. That scene at the end where Juno's father is talking to her and she is crying, and in the next room, Vanessa is holding her baby for the first time was really emotional and uncomfortable, and real. I LOVED IT!
