My favorite cheap lunch

Wendy's side salad and chili (add 4 hot sauces).
Less than $3. Dynamite.

What is your favorite cheap lunch?

OK, my favorite cheap lunch only applies to teachers. Jimmy Johns offers their Teacher Meal Deal on Wednesdays. It is $5.00 for any sub (I get mine in a lettuce wrap- no extra charge!) baked lays, a pickle, and delivery! Such a great midweek treat!

I would have to say that I love Arby's Sauce packets, they're free, and there are a variety of different flavors...Arby's food?, not so much. I also love Lawry's season salt "steak" sandwiches, you need a good imagination, but they're like 30 cents a piece.

Wendy's is what I consider a solid cheap option. i noticed recently (in VA) that the dollar menu was like $1.39 now. odd.
also, taco bell is so darn cheap, you can't beat it.

Used to be:

Wendy: Deluxe Cheeseburger (no burger, a.k.a. "Veggie Sandwich") and a baby frosty. I think it was like $1.75.

Taco Bell bean burritos. 99 cents each. Can't beat that.

When I used to be near a Wendy's, that was it. Either a salad and chili or a potato and chili. Really, you couldn't beat it. (I need gross amounts of hot sauce too)

Now that there really isn't one too close to me, I'd say the $1 double cheeseburger takes the cake (I just wish it were a little more healthy!)

You are spot on with the Wendy's Chili and hot sauce - yum!

I am also a huge fan of the cesear side salad and a plain baked potato!
