Just in case you didn't know

Apparently, new cars are built with the emergency trunk pull lever so in case you get stuck in one, you can get out by yourself. What I like most about this is the fact that the person shown has jumped out of the trunk and is now running away from danger. No confusion as to what you should do after you escape the trunk.

I think an even bigger issue is, how dumb you have to be to find yourself in a trunk.

I'm assuming that's how a "trunk monkey" gets out.

Not to be Debbie Downer, but I think this feature is mandatory on vehicles ever since people started kidnapping women and putting them in the trunks of their cars.

It's a good thing, because if I have to get one more outward dent repaired on my car...

I wasn't picturing the person being like "Oh crap! I've gone and locked myself in my trunk again! Rats!" I'm picturing a large person forcefully putting someone in a trunk against their will.

i think of how long it took for the group of 10 people sitting in a board room to come up with this winner of an illustration.

After looking at the diagram, I was mostly concerned with this: look at the height of the person. Look at the size of the trunk. How the hell did they fit into that thing?! They didn't pull the emergency lever; they were just so big that the trunk door wouldn't shut.

Tsk tsk dumb kidnapper.

Hey Iris, Is that an illustration of your actual car, cuz it looks like it. AL-SO,is large people shoving women in trunks a huge problem, and wouldn't said large people know they had a trunk release in the car they were using?

I've gotta think this is mostly for children. And then, I've gotta think that most children would just scream and cry and not know how to use the lever.

(Sorry I used the word, "gotta" twice.)
