The sequel to Batman Begins is filming in Chicago right now. Which means that tonight I will be searching for Christian Bale and Heath Ledger. Seriously, if I get a glimpse of the Batmobile, I might just fall over and die. Here are some blogs that document the filming of this movie.

Question to ponder

How can it be that one can workout 5-6 times a week and not be sore, but wear heels for 6 hours and it kills the next day?

Ketchup Packets

Today I had french fries and they were amazing! I haven't had them in a long time and decided that I needed them today after late night of wedding festivities.

Now, it seems crazy to me that with the huge amount of fries they give you these days, that the ketchup packets are still so small. Why aren't the packets growing with the serving size of everything else? Ever ask for a TON of ketchup and you get 4 packets? How annoying. I really enjoy the pump out kind of dispenser (like at Arby's), but not all places have those.

I want to start a petition for "super size" ketchup packets. I am sure America would be on board with this. Also, ketchup is relatively low in calories and no fat (just sodium and sugar) so it is one of the lesser evil condiments.

Who will sign my petition? Who wants another condiment "new and improved?"

I love my car dealership

Who loves their dealership? Today I had my car serviced for it's 10,000 mile inspection. You have the option of waiting for your car or getting on a shuttle to get where you need to go. Today I waited and when I got my car back, they actually WASHED IT FOR ME! Amazing! I was thrilled. I highly recommend Grogan's Towne Chrysler! Ed Schmidt in Perrysburg gave me so many headaches with my Volkswagen. It is so pleasant to have a dealership that you can trust and which exceeds your expectations.

THE TURNPIKE TAKES CREDIT CARDS

I got off the turnpike in Cleveland today and there was a
"No Cash" lane accepting credit cards! I was astounded and
asked the Toll Booth Lady if they are coming to Toledo and
she said "soon." Great! How many times have you scrounged
to find change for the toll booth?

Finally Digital

Well, it was about time for me to jump into the 21st century and get a digital camera. Sony Cybershot is my new pet and I am VERY excited to use it. Right now, I am at a wedding in Cleveland with my friend Wrona. He is doing groomsmen stuff and I am hanging out in the hotel lobby drinking by myself and blogging. Degree Ultra Clear

I think this product should be called: Degree Ultra Crappy. I do NOT recommend this deodorant at all. I am constantly looking for the cure to sweaty pits and have not found it. What do you recommend?

Restaurant Review - Oasis

Oasis is the newest addition to the restaurant strip on the Docks that features Mediterranean cuisine and atmosphere. The old Club Sin/Gumbos is no more (for that I am happy) and this new place is a terrific replacement. My friend is the GM of Oasis so I went to the "opening" last night that featured their entire menu in appetizer form. One word: spectacular! The buffet featured kibbe, falafel, hummus, pita and pita chips, gyro meat, grape leaves, lentil salad, fattoush, tabbouleh, meat and spinach pies, and then an entire table of different kinds of baklava. We had a lot of fun, drinks were great and the staff was very welcoming and efficient. It was a great night to be on the patio after the sun set. The temperature was perfect for a summer evening and a DJ provided us with some lively music. Oasis is opening Monday for business and I will be frequenting it.

Dear Hot Sauce,
I love you and your spiciness. Thank you for making chili better, making eggs more fun, and for bringing life out in almost all soups. You make burgers more interesting and add a much needed kick to salsa or mexican beans & rice. Hot Sauce, I don't care if you are Tabasco, Franks, or Wendy's Chili Sauce; you are the best and I am not sure I would enjoy life as much as I do without you.

I touched an unborn duck

I was at the lake over the weekend and it was lovely as usual. We often find objects in the lake like golf balls and fish them out. I saw a "golf ball" at the bottom of the lake, but couldn't get it with my foot, so I went underwater to pick it up. Now, for those of you that wear contacts you know that opening your eyes underwater is never a good thing, so I picked up the little white ball with my eyes shut. "Hm, this is smooth for a golf ball," I thought. "Must've been down here for the winter," I continued. "LOOK! I found a golf ball!" I shouted to Nana. She says, "I think that is a duck egg!" "WHAT?!?!?!?!" I yell, and proceed to THROW the egg like it is going to bite me or something. I was totally grossed out by the fact that I touched an unborn duck egg (or WHATEVER kind of animal egg that was). Hopefully I will not get the bird flu. Ick.
