I will be in Kentucky all week for work so there will be little to no posting.

MRI

I had an MRI today to see

if there is anything "wrong"

with my brain or to see if there

is something causing my constant

headaches. Turns out, I am fine

and my brain is normal. Thanks

to everyone who has been worried

and/or asking me how things

are going. Now we will just

Do I slur? Is Colleen really that rare of a name?
Consistently when I call people or tell someone
my name, it usually goes like this:
me: "Hi, this is Colleen"
them: "Corey?"
me: (slower) "Colleen"
them: "Holly?"
me: (slower still): "Colleen"
them: "I'm sorry...what?"

Today I got a new one: POLLY ANN!
I laughed out loud when the lady on the
other end of the phone said that.

Are there any famous Colleens that I can
reference? Colleen Atwood is the only famous
one I know of and she is a costume designer for
Hollywood and somewhat obsure.

As big as your head...

New Chipotle opened in Westgate today and they are giving away free burritos!
Awesome! I drove by at noon and there was a line of about 100 people. I know
that I have been known to exaggerate, but seriously....100 people. It is both
exciting and terrible that this restaurant is 5 blocks from my house now.


God help us if it is open late.

What I love about Toledo

On my lunch, I went to the other side of town to run
some errands. I saw 3 people I knew and we had short
nice conversations. I love that about Toledo! It is fun
to run into people you know all the time.

I took yolates last night because I cannot do anything really intense (like TurboKick or jogging) right now because of my ongoing vertigo/migraine issues. I have been taking this class on Mondays for about 3 months and like it. It is a combo of yoga and pilates. I continue to be surprised at how this "hippie" workout is actually strenuous. You really have to give it a chance and it can be quite challenging. Getting your own mat is key so you don't constantly think about how someone's butt or feet have been where you are resting your head. You can focus on you.

Graham is a huge weenie and I cannot believe he is Jack's brother. The plot thickens!! AHHH! I love it. 24 is the best show ever. Ever. I really enjoy the fact that Jack can rip a wire out of a lamp with little effort. He is the man. Plain and simple.
I still think Morris is suspect.

I bought IceBreakers Ice Cubes today.

My sister introduced me to them and I

couldn't remember if I liked them or not.

I remember...they are good initally, but

lose their flavor about 10 minutes into it.

Also, there are only 10 pieces in a box which

is kind of a rip off.

I am sure most of you have heard about this contest in California.I just listened to the DJs talking about this contest before it happened; laughing and joking and saying that the contestants signed waivers, so they (the station and its employees) don't have to worry.They don't realize how much power and influence they have.

Beauty and the Geek

I am not sure why I started watching this show, but I love it. I laugh out loud so many times while watching it. On a side note, I took the "Geek" quiz on the website and it turns out I am more like the guys with a rating of "Pretty Geeky." I guess that means I am smart.

I am getting a new cell phone. I have been using

my work one to "save me money." The problem

is, I go over my minutes every single month and I

end up paying over $50.00 a month.

What provider does everyone use? I was going to

go with Sprint, but does anyone recommend something

else?

Did anyone watch the season premiere of 24 last night?
1) I think Wayne Palmer is too young to be President.
2) Karen and Bill are a good match.
3) Chloe's move was idiotic and I do not fully trust Morris.
Is he British or Russian?
4) Jack's bite move made me scream out loud, YUK!
5) Scissors to the knee! What!?!?!
6) It is hard to see Taj from Van Wilder be a bad guy.
7) How many times is the US Government going to
"sacrifice" Jack to terrorists or bad guys?

I am EXCITED for tonight....it is going to be explosive.

I am a hippie

I bought a yoga mat today. It is yellow with
these rustic red stokes on the bottom that
look like waves. It is cool and I like it. Now
when I do yoga (or what I call entertainment
for the whole class because I suck so bad) I
do not have to worry about having my forehead
on a mat where someone's smelly feet have been.

The Winter is here...I wish you were Beautiful!

The Office

Did anyone watch The Office last week? I laugh out loud so much at
this show. Michael is the biggest moron ever and I am embarassed
for him every millisecond of the show. But seriously....there is NO WAY
Jan is being straightforward with Michael. I think she is going to have
him beat up.

Does anyone else get the word of the day? I get it from Merriam-Webster
Online and rarely are they words I would use in everyday life. Can you imagine:
"I wonder what bar the vox populi will be going to tonight?"

Right....I will count this one as an educational word and not practical or fun word.

Movie Review

I have been under the weather so I watched movies all weekend.
Here is my review:
1) You, Me, and Dupree
I was surprised at this movie; it was GREAT! If you need
a light, funny movie this is a good one. I laughed out loud a lot.
Owen Wilson, Matt Dillon, Kate Hudson, and Michael Douglas.
Rating: 6
2) Jackass 2
I officially have mouth-agape syndrome after watching this.
Those guys are NUTS and I cannot believe that none of them
have died. I loved it. WARNING: Graphic and GROSS..but
I loved it
Rating: 7
3) Underworld: Evolution
I am a sci-fi and fantasy fan, but this one was not that good.
Plot was confusing and character development was lax.
The best part about this flick is Kate Beckinsale and her
amazing skills.
Rating: 3
4) Invincible
I must have been really bored and tired, but this movie
failed to inspire me. Marky Mark is pretty sweet and I
enjoy watching him in action, but it didn't make me want
to get up and start a war like Miracle did.
Rating: 4
5) The Black Dahlia
I just kept hoping that every scene would be the last
one. I think they tried to hard to make it look
"Old Hollywood." I cannot believe that Scarlett Johanssen
is only 20-something; she appears much older.
Rating: 3
