Leave-in Conditioner is a Marketing Ploy

I have discovered that leave-in conditioner is a total waste of money and just another product that beauty product companies package all fancy and make you feel like you need it.

Here is what I do: while my hair is still wet after the shower, I put just a little bit of just regular conditioner through my hair and don't rinse it out. It really makes my hair shinier and softer. This is fantastic for curly hair. Try it and let me know what you think.

GREAT idea!

However, does it make your hair greasy at all?
When you say, "little bit" - how much is that?

I do this whenever I'm planning on letting my hair go curly. It definitely helps tame all my frizzies!

(my "little bit" is about the size of a dime, if that. and I try not to get it close to my scalp - just the hair, because I'm afraid of looking greasy.)

I feel like this technique would make my hair SOOOOO greasy. It would be gross.

It makes me laugh to think of how my hair would look if I did this. It would be so greasy and so flat it's ridiculous.

But that's what you get when you have very straight, very fine hair.

If anyone with curly hair wants to trade for a month or so, lemme know.

K, it does not make my hair greasy. My hair is naturally so dry, it really soaks up the moisture.

M, I would trade with you for a month in a heartbeat. Wouldn't that be so fun?

S, I also use about a dime size.

WK, you definately need to try it!
