I want ribbons to be cool again

Remember that? Favorite high school hair accessory.
THE RIBBON. We would puffy paint our softball numbers on the
end and a little ball or bat on the other end. So fun. Shamrock ones
in March. Christmas tree ones in December. I realize that it would be
completely queer to rock a pumpkin ribbon one next month, but it was
so fun to be festive like that.

Come on....who feels me on this one?

I agree. I enjoyed ribbons.

I think you could bring them back in the form of a thick headband.

Or a loose low ponytail.

(Can you tell I'm really putting some thought into this?)

After reading this, I saw someone at the county fair with the multi-ribbon ponytail holder. Like a really cute girl in her late 20s or early 30s.

Guess no one told her they were "out". Or she's trying to bring them back.

So I had to come back and post this on your blog. You may be able to pull them out again. :)

i actually went out and bought ribbons for last years MSUvUM game. For some odd reason, i didn't check out the "hair" section, assuming they weren't in style anymore. So I spent the next 20 minutes in the fabric section, finding the perfect maize and blue combination, cutting them to the length i want, then hunting down the sales person to ring me up. It definitely took too long, but it was worth it to feel like a kid again!!
