Restaurant Review - Oasis

Oasis is the newest addition to the restaurant strip on the Docks that features Mediterranean cuisine and atmosphere. The old Club Sin/Gumbos is no more (for that I am happy) and this new place is a terrific replacement. My friend is the GM of Oasis so I went to the "opening" last night that featured their entire menu in appetizer form. One word: spectacular! The buffet featured kibbe, falafel, hummus, pita and pita chips, gyro meat, grape leaves, lentil salad, fattoush, tabbouleh, meat and spinach pies, and then an entire table of different kinds of baklava. We had a lot of fun, drinks were great and the staff was very welcoming and efficient. It was a great night to be on the patio after the sun set. The temperature was perfect for a summer evening and a DJ provided us with some lively music. Oasis is opening Monday for business and I will be frequenting it.

Oh really!? I didn't know Club Sin/Gumbo's was closing. That is GREAT news!

This sounds like a restaurant I would enjoy.

so its not like the time we went to the beirut and our lunch was like 45 dollars and we got a whole bunch of crap we didnt really want and there was a really obnoxious girl that pretended she knew everyone in Toledo and wanted to have a really, really inappropriate public conversation???
